Community-based Active Case Finding (ACF) is an effective method for detecting new cases of tuberculosis by empowering Community Health Workers (CHWs). The purpose of this study is analyze the relationship between home visit with detection of new cases tuberculosis among household contacts by CHWs. The design of this study was cross-sectional descriptive survey, using a quantitative approach, carried out from July to September 2021 at 26 Public Health Centers in Samarinda. The research sample were 304 CHWs using purposive sampling. Bivariate analysis test using chi square showed a significant relationship between home visits and detection of new cases of tuberculosis in household contacts (p-value = 0.000) and OR = 3.685 (95% CI). ACF by CHWs through home visits is very effective in finding new cases tuberculosis of household contacts. This requires an alternative approach to overcome obstacles in health services for patients with diabetes mellitus, one of which is through cadres as partners in health services. However, the role of cadres has not been much focused on the area of non-communicable diseases in the community. So there needs to be an intervention strategy to increase the empowerment of cadres. This study aims to develop a cadre intervention program training on the knowledge and skills of cadres in foot care for diabetes mellitus patients. This study used a pre posttest one group design on 24 cadres in the working area of the Lempake Health Center. The variables measured included the knowledge and skills of cadres regarding foot care for diabetes mellitus patients using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the analysis with Wilcoxon showed that there was a difference in about the knowledge and skills of cadres regarding foot care for patients with diabetes mellitus (p value <0.05). When in college, students must face the transition of roles as adult learners. The experiential learning method is one of the implications that can be offered in adult learning to facilitate knowledge construction and learning through interaction with an authentic environment. This literature review design aims to describe adult learning implication through three experiential learning methods, consist of problem-based learning, case-based learning, and simulation-based learning in nursing education. Data source was performed through Scopus, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar and PubMed. PCC approach was used (Population=Nursing student; Concept= Adult learning; Content= Nursing education) for searching keyword. Article selection based on year (2015-2021), full text, English, and original research. Of the 308 articles identified, 10 articles were eligible for analysis, consisting of 5 randomized controlled trials and 5 quasi-experimental studies. Problem-based learning (PBL) focuses on the process of problem solving and exploration of a case. Case-based learning (CBL) refers to the decision making and solution of a case. Simulation-based learning facilitates student skills according to the reality in clinical practice.
